Enhancements

  • Charts
    • HLC Channels
      • DTN is excited to present this new Chart display. It was developed internally and is currently patent pending!
      • The HLC Channels show the High, Low and Close values of the entire series rather than as individual displays.
      • Included is the option to show indicators that show when the trading volume exceeds a certain percentage.
      • Body Markers can be added also. These show instances where the difference between Open and Close prices is a small one.
      • Boundary Close lines reflect consecutive periods in which the Close value is within a configurable percentage of either the High or Low value.
    • New Studies
      • Absolute Price Oscillator (APO)
        • Is based on the absolute difference between two moving averages of different lengths: “fast” and “slow”.
      • Balance of Power (BOP)
        • Show the direction and extent of price change during the trading period.
      • Rate of Change (ROC)
        • Is a momentum based technical indicator that measures the percent change in price between the current price and the price of a certain number of periods ago.
      • Market Depth / Quote Meter Displays
        • You are now able to add an entire futures chain by using the same F3 functionality as our quote sheets

        • Change your news Window Header properties
        • New Copy All button is found at the bottom of the display
        • Turn off the Split news display easily

        • New Properties for our Options Displays
      • Quote Lists / Favorite Quote List
        • Create more than one list and easily choose which one you want to display

    • TMPRX-3767 Added Alt row option to series & strike views. Series and Strikes alternate row background colors are now fully configurable. To disable, both colors can be set the same or set the number of alternating rows to zero

    • DTN Grain Summary was duplicating rows while loading a workbook
    • After doing this many times, it used up CPU and memory
    • The loading problem is fixed
    • ProphetX will now load users’ workbooks without overloading CPU and memory. However, corrupted workbooks will show all the rows that were duplicated; customers will have to delete them manually
  • TMPRX-3866 Edge News pages did properly set View focus status
    • Initially, the WebView2 control did not give sufficient notifications to inform the framework when a user clicked on an Edge page. As a result, if the user brought up a page, clicked elsewhere and then went back to the Edge page, the framework would not properly change focus. This prevented the window from properly being displayed with a focus frame. Also, the Copy button on the caption bar would not properly enable when returning to a page

  • TMPRX-3886 Fixed issue where Clear Search Words option was not available for non-HTML fixed pages
  • TMPRX-3893 Rework Save routine in ProphetX Excel Add-in to prevent losing custom xml part

    • Now able to rebuild table by double clicking on the broken control cell; Add-in will ask if you want to rebuild the table

  • TMPRX-3916 Cursor sits on wait when requesting an invalid news page
  • TMPRX-3917 News page resizes when clicking on “Related Stories”
