New Features

  • Additional Languages!
    • ProphetX will now support additional languages on the Menus, Sub Menus and Tooltips.
    • Languages supported are: Spanish, French, and German
  • News Insights
    • All ProphetX users will have access to news headlines and summaries on the impact of events on the markets.
    • Platinum subscribers will have access to not only the complete story, but also past stories.
    • News Insights takes advantage of over 75 years of experience by DTN Analysts Dominick Chirichella, Brian Milne, Troy Vincent and Liubov Georges.
  • Sample Pages and Templates
    • You can select from a list of pre-formatted pages and add them directly to your own workbook.
    • Sample Pages cover Agriculture, Energy and Weather.
    • Templates include At A Glance, Quick Start and Two Chart formats.
  • Weather List Display
    • Platinum subscribers have access to a new display that supports the DTN Platinum Weather.
      • This display is found under the new Specialty menu at the top of the client.
    • Weather List calculates and highlights the difference between current and previous forecast over time and totals those changes over the period.
    • See Daily, Weekly and Monthly Forecast data, with Current, Previous and Change data.
    • Also support the Station Observation Forecast data.

 

Enhancements

  • Charts
    • New Chart indicator, Data Points, for charting just Close prices.
    • Shaded Charts allow you to shade below the chart line in a different color.
    • If a High or Low is present, the chart will now default to a Line chart.
    • Both Charts and Tabular displays, will now support projected data of more than one month in the future. This will work with data such as the DTN Platinum Weather data.
  • Excel Add In
    • Users will now start their new symbol search from the where they left off the last time, saving you valuable time.
  • Forward Curves
    • Change from a Chart view to a Grid view and back again.
  • New Functions and Studies
    • Donchian Channels
      • Displays trading bands on highs and lows, over a given time period.
    • Guppy Multiple Moving Avg
      • Combines a group of short term and a group of long term moving averages.
    • Chande Momentum Oscillator
      • Captures the momentum of the instrument
    • Money Flow Index
      • Plots a measure of money flowing into and out of a symbol.
    • Relative Oscillator
      • Plots a measure of the relative oscillation movement
  • News
    • Choose between the News Menu you are currently familiar with and a list of the News sources in alphabetical fashion.
    • Choose how you want to see your news headlines; in a Single Line or Wrapped to see the entire headline in a glance.
  • Options
    • We have added the Cox-Ross-Rubinstein Option Pricing Model.
      • This model considers the underlying instrument over a period of time instead of just one point in time.
      • This is a binomial lattice.
  • Specialty Displays
    • All our Specialty Displays, including all our Calculators, have been moved to their own place in the File menu at the top of the client.
    •  DTN Grain Summary
      • You can now add a Distance column to see how far another elevator is from you selected elevator.
