We’re excited to bring you the latest update to ProphetX, version 4.17.1.5. This release introduces several enhancements to improve your experience and productivity.
New Feature

New Monthly Returns Display

  • Located under the Quotes Menu, this display shows the return (positive or negative) per month, in a tabular format.
  • The Monthly Returns also will allow you to see the averages of each month for 3, 5, or 10 year increments.
  • You can easily switch from Delta, Price. Percent Change and Volume.
  • You can customize the display by entering a symbol manually, dragging and dropping from the Symbol Search and linking to other displays.
  • This display is part of the Platinum package. If you are a Pro user and would like to see it, please contact your sales rep!
Enhancements
Charts
  • New Session Charting Interval
    • Shows a bar of candle for each trading session.
    • Ignores the Holiday events, so the gaps you see are expected behavior.
Functions and Studies
  • New Parkinson Volatility Estimator function.
    • This is an alternate volatility method using High and Low values.
  • New Change study
    • This study will show the difference between the current the previous values.
      • Supported are: Open, High, Low, Close and Volume.
  • New High Low Range study
    • This is a basic High-Low study.
  • New Ease of Movement study
    • This is a Volume based Oscillator quantifying Price/Volume relationships.
  • New Internal Bar Strength study
    • This measures the Closing Price relative to the High/Low range.

Fixes
  • TMPRX-6016 Strip display does not set column count correctly:
    • Default handling now creates only one empty columns, so display sizes correctly
  • TMPRX-6067/6081 Fixed a charting issue having to do with Early Close events
  • TMPRX-6074 Switching from Captioned to No Caption mode may incorrectly show truncated tab name
  • TMPRX-6080 Fixed Holiday issue causing CBOT symbols to show duplicate bars
  • TMPRX-6094 Fixed Holiday Gaps in Chart and Tabular with QRB root
  • TMPRX-6109 Deleting a selected item in a stack should not delete all selected items in every stack:
    • Deletions are now limited to the current stack
  • TMPRX-6121 Quote View does not show all available Holiday information
  • TMPRX-6135 Weekly HLA Charts are not working after Presidents Day Holiday
