To Access the Platinum Content News Stories

  • When the Pop-up appears, click on Click here for details
  • OR Go to the News menu from the top menu
  • Click on DTN Insights to pull up list of current and past Insight stories

Changing the setting for the Pop-up

  • Find the Wheel icon at the top of the client, and click on it to bring up the Settings menu
  • Find Insights
  • Make sure the box is checked next to Enable Insight Popups, to see the pop-ups
    • Uncheck it to disable the pop-ups.
  • As DTN adds more areas of interest, you will be able to select the Topics you would like to see Insights for.

  • Brian Milne: Editor, Analyst
    • Brian has 25 years of experience in the energy industry as an analyst, serving as Managing Editor for the Btu publications and journalist with Bridge Information Systems America before joining DTN in 1999.His industry and market focus include natural gas,  NGL’s, electricity during its move to deregulated markets in the late 1990s, biofuels, and the oil industry. Brian has been quoted in national media outlets that include The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Barron’s and Newsweek.
  • Liubov Georges: Energy Report
    • Liubov has covered the energy industry for more than 5 years, including as an oil and gas market analyst in New York City and Washington, DC. She earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations form Moscow State University, where she completed extensive coursework in geopolitical strategy and international political economy. She frequently wrote articles for the Institute of Modern Russia Civil Society Group. Liubov went on to graduate from New York University with a master’s degree in Economics and Energy Policy, where she focused on geopolitics of energy, statistical analysis and political risk. While in graduate school she worked as an Oil Market Reporter at Axelrod  Energy Projects and as a Natural Gas Market Analyst at the Energy Policy Research Foundation in Washington DC. At both positions, she provided technical and economic analysis on regional and international markets, with exposure to petroleum and financial industries.
  • Troy Vincent: Market Analyst
    • Vincent has been in the economic research and energy consulting industry for nearly a decade, working as a market analyst for large international companies. In his prior roles, he has specialized in crude oil and refined products, natural gas and LNG, global carbon markets and electricity markets, serving as a senior analyst, executive editor and publisher of research reports. Troy has a unique background in economic policy research, and prides himself on an in depth understanding of economics and monetary policy which helps to guide his analysis deeper than basic supply and demand fundamentals.
