As you continue adding Content Windows to your Workspace, you will want to arrange the windows so that you can easily see the information they provide.
Manually Arranging the Windows
Similar to any other Windows program, you can adjust the placement and size of your widows with the following manual methods:
- To move a window, use your mouse and click and drag the Window’s Title Bar.
- To re-size a window, use your mouse and click and drag the Window’s edge.
- Hint: if you want to move a window so that it aligns with the edge of DTN ProphetX, it is easier to drag the window’s edge until it dead end’s with the DTN ProphetX’s window edge.
Automatically Arranging the Windows
There are several menu selections that allow the windows to be automatically arranged:
- From the Main Menu, select the Window menu, then select:
- Cascade Windows – makes all non-minimized windows a uniform size and arranges them in a single stack that is fanned out so that each window’s title appears. The most recently active window will be on top. To bring another window to the foreground, click its Title Bar.
- Tile Windows Horizontally – makes all non-minimized windows a uniform size and arranges them from side to side, then down.
- Tile Windows Vertically – makes all non-minimized windows a uniform size and arranges them from top to bottom, then across.
- Arrange Icons – arranges all minimized window icons into a row at the bottom of the Workspace. This command lets you quickly re-position icons when you change the size of your ProphetX window.
Tip: All windows on the ProphetX work area can be sized, maximized, minimized, and moved to create the arrangement you want.
