At DTN, we use the standard Argus “PA” symbols. To differentiate between symbol values, DTN adds a suffix to the original symbol. The first table below maps the DTN suffixes and quote fields used for the different Argus Price Types.

To find all the derivatives of a Argus Symbol

  • Open a Quote Sheet
  • Right Mouse click in one of the Ticker fields
  • Click on Advanced Request

  • Fill in the Request Form
    • Under Search By – Select Pattern Matching
    • In the box below – Enter the Argus Symbol, place an “*” after the symbol (This is the Wild Card)
    • Click on Search

  • Click on Symbols desired
  • Click OK
