This section contains RSS Channels that have been pre-defined for ProphetX users as well as where you will save RSS news.
Accessing RSS Channels
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to get the news you want whenever it is updated. Many major news organizations such as MSNBC and the Wall Street Journal publish RSS news feeds.
To open an RSS Channel window, open the News Docked Pane, click on the RSS Channels folder and double-click on the desired news category.
To add RSS Channels to the RSS Channel Folder:
- Locate the RSS feed you wish to add in your Internet Browser
- Pin the News window from the docked tool bar so it stays open
- Click on the RSS icon , and drag then drop the icon to the My RSS Channels folder in your News docked pane window.
Since web masters do things differently, you’ll have to experiment with this. Sometimes you can drag and drop the button from the web page to your RSS folder. Other times you will have to open the HTML document, copy the URL for it, and paste it to the ProphetX RSS folder.
