You can easily customize comments that you have added to charts with the text icon.

  • Right-click on the comment and select Text Properties
  • In the Font dialog, click on your choices for font, style, size, or effects.
  • To change color, click on the Color box arrow and select the new color from the list. A sample of your selected text will be shown under Sample.
  • Click the OK button to exit.

Anchoring text to screen

Anchoring text in a Chart Window allows you to view your text without having it scroll with the chart.

For example, you would want to anchor a chart title to the location at the center top of the page. You wouldn’t want it to move off to the left as new data comes in – you always want it centered at the top. On the other hand, if you put a comment on your chart indicating a price you would want that price to move with the bar so you would not anchor it to the screen.

Moving a Comment

Place your pointer on the comment and drag it to the new location.

Deleting a Comment

Right-click on the comment, and select Delete.

Tip:  Changing the properties on individual pages will over-ride selections in the Preferences.
